FarmMuseum writes "February is Black History Month. Each year the Coopersville Farm Museum invites Barbara Flowers-Taylor to share part of her doll collection with us in honor of Black History Month. Over the past few years we have added dolls of our lives to this exhibit which has been extended to run through March as well. It's simply amazing to see what our very own volunteers and staff have tucked away from their childhoods!
Coopersville is a rural community located just minutes from Grand Rapids and the shore of Lake Michigan off I96 at either exit 16 or 19. There are oodles of treasures to be found in this sleepy little town; the Coopersville and Marne Railway, Coopersville Historical Society Museum and Del Shannon Memorial, the Coopersville Farm Museum, shops, places to eat, services, and good people. Stop by to say "hi" and check out the "Dolls of Our Lives" exhibit at the Farm Museum. The Farm Museum always has tractors and farm tools, art, and Ho train layout, and interactive Kid's Area too! Something for everyone. Barrier-free, family friendly. Give us a call at (616) 997-8555 for hours and admission information. "
